We are still here

Hi gang-
Just to let you know, we are alive and well and sitting in Cottondale, AL.  After listening to the weather last night, we decided we would just sit here for another day.  The weather has been pretty great here today, but there have been some extremely dark clouds passing through every so often.  Since we were going to be here for an extra day, we did laundry-just in case.  That took up the morning and we both got some reading done.  That worked up an appetite, so we went to lunch at Ruby Tuesday's.  Thank you to whomever gave us a gift card for that restaurant.  The manager came over to look out the window we were sitting near.  He told us about having the Ravens team sitting in that area when the last tornado hit.  Course, neither Russ nor I were sure what he said (didn't pick up on the Ravens-not a team we are familiar with), but he had the football team in the downstairs cooler to protect them from the storm-or so his story goes.  He offered us his cooler if we thought we might need it.  Hopefully we won't.
After lunch, we sat outside in the sun for a while, until it rained; then came in for a while, until the sun came out again and then went back outside.  Doesn't seem to be much in the area-oh we didn't find a Paul Bryant housing development.  Russ recognized the name as the Alabama football coach.  I didn't-would have had it said Bear Bryant.  Tomorrow we will be heading to Nashville, about 5 hours away.  Hope our campground is there-and hope everyone is safe there.
So, we are safe and continue on with our homeward bound travels.  Get rid of the snow you are getting in NH/Me.  Talk to you all soon.  Love-linda
