Hi. Trying something different. I was supposed to blog last nite but we were watching an interesting show on the tsunami in Japan so I didn't
We stayed at a state park in Mississippi. Very quiet park with very little television reception. That's why we watched the Japan story. Well today we are headed to Cottondale, AL and then tomorrow we will be in Nashvile. We have the radio on (which is unusual) to try to get info on the weather. There have been tornadoes in the state so we would like to stay out of their way. Never heard anything on the radio and after chasing stations and finily realizing that I was listening to Church radio and even liking the new christian music (not hyms) I gave up on the forcast(local that is not for the hereafter that I was hearing).

Thursday-
We made it to Cottondale, AL. and got setup in a highwayside RV park. Bad internet reception, but good cable and tv. The weather is predicted to be severe so we are comptemplationg staying here thru Friday.
Friday AM-
the weather was great here yesterday afternoon and all nite. The weather channel and all other weather info is saying severe weather and possible tornados. The worst is predicted for Nashville and north so we have decided to stay here another nite and head to nashville Saturday morning. We called the Nashville rv park and they agreed that it might be wise. It is overcast now but the rain and winds are expected for this afternoon and evening. I am a little concerned and not being used to weather like this doesn't help. We hope it's just being overly cautious but I feel better staying on the lower end of the alert area and not driving into what is predicted to be the "storm center".  We actually made coffee and are going to do laundry and check out the area this morning.  I NEED to turn off the Weather Channel and do something.
