We made it!! Picacho PeakRV Park Arizona

 We are at the foot of this mountain

We are setup and are already meeting folks. They want us to join a darts group and we have been invited into the "in crowd" already. Not sure if we should jump right in as they may think they're the in crowd but you never know. ha ha   the weather is beautiful, sunny , warm and just very comfortable.  We are signed up to stay here for the month of February.
 Last nite we were in Tuscon and our friends Steve and Yvonne came in shortly after us and then we went out for dinner. had a great visit and called it a nite. we met for breakfast and then we drove to Picacho. They are coming up on Wednesday and are planning on staying for a week. We hope they do as we have so much fun with them. I will try and get some pictures from our site in the morning. There are hundreds of Saguaro cactus  on the hills behind us and the park is beautiful.

For those that know about my involvement with writing a new ordinance for the town of Barrington, it passed at the deliberative session today. it came down to a tie ballot vote and only one item was changed. we feel it's a victory and helps to know that others agree with all our hard work in writing it. now if we can get the support at the polls in March we will make it happen.  We are having our Absentee ballots mailed to us.
 Its Linda now.  Fortunately Russ only put one picture in of the mountain.  I was taking them from the first time we saw it.  It is beautiful out in back of us.  Weather is warm, but right now we are apparently in a cool spell.  Also, our neighbors (not in the park, just outside of the park) is an ostrich farm.  We will have to take a walk over there at some time.  We are looking forward to our month here.
